My Spidey sense detect…. A scarf wearing Naked English preppy in Spider-Man suit.
Andrew Garfield, the hunky English star of the upcoming summer blockbuster The Amazing Spider-Man, says on Tuesday’s edition of The Ellen DeGeneres Show that under his Spidey suit, all he’s wearing is his birthday suit!
Garfield, 28, tells Ellen he had to work out “like a literal crazy person” to get in shape for the coveted role (which Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Daniel Radcliffe and Zac Efron were all considered for).

“It was a life change: I get frustrated with those Men’s Health magazines,” The Social Network star said. “It’s like, ‘In five minutes, you’ll be as fit a as fiddle if you just follow those three simple steps and only eat cucumbers.’ This was hard work. I wouldn’t be able to do it with out someone.”
Garfield said while his Spidey suit might look good, it was quite uncomfortable to wear.
“It’s made of something that is designed to make you irritated,” Garfield said. “I don’t know what that material name is but that’s the description underneath.”
Ellen asked him, “Was there anything under that suit? It’s so skin tight it seems you would see lines of underwear or something like that. Is there anything under there? Nothing under there?”
“It’s just me,” Garfield said. “Yeah, It’s the worst.”
In the film, Emma Stone plays Gwen Stacy and the nemesis Spidey will be webbing it out with, Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard, is played by Rhys Ifans.
Fun fact: According to iMDb, Garfield wept tears of joy the first time he donned the iconic costume.
The Amazing Spider-Man hits theaters July 3.
